Dear Wesley,

I am saddened to hear of your recent three-year prison sentence. However, I feel God has a much bigger and better plan and purpose for your life because of this.

You are being put through this trying time for a reason and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God will reveal His most perfect will as you continue to place your faith and trust in Him.

I am enclosing a copy of my book entitled, “Once Life Matters: A New Beginning.” I hope it will encourage and inspire you to look for the bigger picture. As I look back on my life before going to prison on drug charges 27 years ago, I thought I had it made in the entertainment business. I was dead wrong. My life did not begin to matter until after God touched me and made me whole. It took prison time for it all to sink in.

Please know you will be in my thoughts and prayers and I look forward to hearing all good things coming out of this for you. God will make a way. Trust me. I know.
