Quentin Tarantino - Movie director admits being offered hashish from actor Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt recently admitted to quitting a drug habit early on in his career after it affected his acting work.

But Quentin Tarantino, who has revealed Brad offered him cannabis on a recent trip to France, would beg to differ.

Speaking on the Howard Stern show to promote new film Inglourious Basterds, the director yesterday claimed Brad uses the drug on occasion to help him relax.

Tarantino said the 'coolest' thing his colleague, who also stars in the film, did during their meeting to discuss Brad's role was 'pull out a brick of hash' and give him a piece of it. 

He then goes on to explain how the father of six gave him an empty aluminum soda can to use as a pipe. Tarantino responded: 'Yeah, I know what to do with this.'
