"Queen - It's a New Day" was founded and created by Pastor Judy Hoff of Life Changes Ministry and her daughter Sarah to give these women a very special day - a new day - in which they are lovingly shown their worth.

Marty Angelo and Dr.
Rose Parker were keynote speakers at "Queen - It's A New Day" - May,
2009. Angelo is scheduled to speak again at the May
2010 event.
This is done by a royal treatment that permanently changes how the women view themselves and how society sees them. After several years of holding this event we can track the changes in the lives of women: from devastation to new jobs, from homelessness and loss to new homes and self-sufficiency, these women are truly changed from the inside out.

THE WOMEN
There are hundreds of women and children in every county across the United States that end up homeless each year. There are many heart breaking circumstances that contribute to being on the streets. Most of these women have to take their children and run because of domestic violence or drug problems. These women come into the various shelters with nothing but what they are wearing. They are forced to leave behind everything including financial security. The largest loss is the impact these types of situations have on their self esteem, self worth, and self identity. They are literally stripped of the most essential things for survival; food, clothes, and housing. They flee to a county shelter and if there is an open bed, they have a place to lay their heads to sleep.

WHAT IT IS
Queen - It's a New Day opens our hearts to hundreds of women twice each year. The women receive: brand new work clothes, shoes, haircuts and styles, chair massages, manicures, pedicures, makeup application, professional photo shots of themselves, five course professionally catered dinner, key note speaker and professional entertainment.
