Dear O.J.,

I hope you remember me. We met years ago through a mutual friend who once owned one of Buffalo’s hot nightspots. You were riding high in your Buffalo Bills football career hitting the record 2003 total yardage gained. 

It saddens me to see you have to sit in a county jail waiting for another trial. I am sure you are wondering why all these bad things keep happening to you or through you. I am in no position to judge, however, I do know you can stop this process by placing your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. 

God has a much bigger and better plan for you, Juice. This madness has to stop. I can speak to you from experience because I have sat in a similar county jail in Miami Florida over 26 years ago looking at serving the rest of my life in prison. It is a very lonely and terrible position to be in.

I am sending you a copy of my book (under separate cover) entitled, “Once Life Matters: A New Beginning.” I hope it inspires you to change your ways and follow God’s plan and purpose for your life.
