Dear Marion,

I am sorry to hear of your recent incarceration. I learned through my own life and the 26+ years I have spent in prison ministry, that arrests and prison get one’s attention very quickly. It is not something we plan for, however, when it happens can be a blessing in disguise. 

I am writing today to let you know the stumbling block that has just happened can be used as a stepping-stone for a wonderful future.

You should be receiving two books (under separate covers) within the next few days. The first one is entitled, “Once Life Matters: A New Beginning.” It is my personal memoir of my years in the entertainment business and life’s consequences of substance abuse, including a six-year federal prison sentence. 

The second book is entitled, “You Are Never Alone,” written by Ms. Trish Hart. Hart is a former drug addict who also served serious federal prison time. 

I hope you find both books inspiring and helpful in discovering God’s real plan and purpose for your life.

Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this trying time. Please hang in there, Marion. Things do get better as you place your faith and trust in God.
