Dear Kiefer,

I hope this letter finds you doing as well as can be expected in your present situation. It is a very lonely time sitting in a county jail cell. However, you can turn this into an excellent opportunity to experience real freedom. 

I am enclosing a copy of my book, “Once Life Matters: A New Beginning.” I hope it will help inspire you to discover God’s real plan and purpose for your life. 

Kiefer, I am praying everything turns out right in your life so you never have to return to the jail to learn your lessons. 

The last 26 ‘drug and alcohol free’ years of my life have been a true gift from God. He opened all the right doors for me to joyfully go through in complete peace. I pray your next 26 years will be just as rewarding. 

Hang in there, brother. It does get better.
