RE: Paris Hilton

Dear Honorable Judge Sauer,

I would like to volunteer to switch places with Paris Hilton. I would gladly serve out the remainder of her sentence if you would release her to an alternative treatment program. It sounds like she really needs some special medical, spiritual, and psychological therapy and keeping her in confinement at the Los Angeles County jail cannot address her unique needs.

I do understand the court’s desire to follow the letter of the law in Ms. Hilton's situation, however it seems to me she has learned a big lesson already and so has society. There is no need to continue this punishment and if you can find it in your heart and within the law, please seriously consider my plea to serve Ms. Hilton’s remaining jail time for her.

The months ahead will tell if Paris Hilton’s antics will change, however I will bet my bottom dollar that the criminal justice system will never see her again. I am sure she was awakened to the consequences of her misdeeds and by getting her help now will seriously add to her rehabilitation. I feel by keeping her locked up will only add to the damage she already caused herself.

Please feel free to contact me to further discuss my offer.

God bless you,

Marty Angelo
Prison Minister
