The official and original Hustle Dancers Hall of Fame™ was created by Marty Angelo in 2000 and donated to the United States Library of Congress in 2005.

Criteria and Categories

Certain criteria used to make a hustle dancer eligible for the Hustle Dancers Hall of Fame™:

1) Years of contributions. 2) Top of the class in their craft. 3) Well respected and admired.

The lists have many names still missing and many are deceased.

Right now we have four categories:

The official and original Hustle Dancers Hall of Fame™ was created by Marty Angelo in 2000. It was donated to the United States Library of Congress in 2005 along with the Disco Step-by-Step® videotape collection and website, The Disco Dj Hall of Fame™ and the Disco Music Hall of Fame™.

The original idea of the Hustle Dancers Hall of Fame™ is kept alive today by a current Nominating Committee consisting of Mark James (Long Island), Ron Bess (NJ),
Bobby O (FL), Susan Marolda (NJ), and Juan Hernandez (VA).
