National
Prison Card Ministry - Supported by Hallmark Cards and The Salvation Army.
One of the larger recipients of Hallmark product donations is the
Salvation Army in Kansas
City. Greeting card donations, which make up about 20 percent of all Hallmark donations, are sent only to this organization for redistribution to prisons and jails across the country.
The cards are distributed to prisoners by chaplains and social workers at each site to help incarcerated persons stay connected with their
families. Chaplains
