Fireman Arrested Drunk & Dressed In A Bikini

An Ohio volunteer firefighter faced charges of disorderly conduct, drunk driving and public indecency after being arrested Tuesday in a Cincinnati area park dressed in a women's bikini and a blonde wig.

"I was disturbed. You know, it just wasn't something I expected to see in a city park," said Troy Herphant, who witnessed the arrest.

Authorities Thursday identified the firefighter as Steve Cole, a volunteer with the Wayne Township, Ohio force since 2000. Leaders said he was active in the community and also served as an EMT.

Cole was reportedly spotted by witnesses Tuesday afternoon, running in the park, in what was described as "skimpy bikini." His blood alcohol level was reported to be twice the legal limit, registering at .174. Cole told police he was going to Dayton, Ohio to participate in a contest at a bar.

In a written statement, officials said Cole was placed on administrative leave for violating public conduct codes.
