Stacy Ann 'Fergie' Ferguson - Rap Singer Too Drunk To Fly
Black Eyed Peas star Fergie was banned from boarding a plane after getting drunk last weekend, a newspaper has claimed.
The 31-year-old was about to leave Los Angeles for Britain with fellow bandmates when airline staff allegedly decided she was unfit to fly.
The singer was slurring her words and could hardly stand, according to a report in the Daily Mirror.
"She was falling all over the place and had to be supported. She was in no state to fly," a witness is quoted as saying.
The paper says friends had to pull Fergie away, as she raged at airline staff.
"She was drunkenly ranting at staff but could barely string a sentence together," the witness continued.
"It was very embarrassing."
Fergie, who has been battling booze and drugs, was with bandmates William,
Apdeap and Taboo, when she was evicted from the plane.
They remained on board, but two aides stayed behind as her luggage was removed from the Virgin Atlantic flight.
The singer, real name Stacy Ann Ferguson, looked tired when she eventually landed at Heathrow on Tuesday night.
She was escorted through the airport by a Virgin Atlantic employee, the Mirror said, before being whisked away by a record company aide.
Black Eyed Peas have had hit songs such as Where Is The Love and have sold 20 million records worldwide.
