Dear Marty. How are you doing? I am a slow reader and it has taken me almost two weeks to read your book but I must say I feel as I have walked in your footsteps. Your book and your personal testimony have been a great inspiration. Thank you for speaking here at Faith Farm Okeechobee. In addition, everyone say thanks for the books. I just was baptized today!! Praise the Lord! - BL - Okeechobee, FL

Dear Marty - My counselor gave me a copy of your book and within just two hours had it read! That is a real accomplishment for me because I hardly ever read. However, I could not put your book down. I could relate to every word. It was like reading my life. WOW! Thank you so much for making it available here. I know others who have also read it and have gotten a lot out of it. - TJ - Orlando, FL

Dear Mr. Angelo - As soon I checked into this program I checked into my room assignment and my roommate handed me a copy of your book and said, "Read this right away. You will enjoy it." Well, I dropped everything, sat down, and read it. I was touched in a big way. It was so simple to understand and could see myself through it. We have been through many similar situations. I am sick and tired of being a drug addict and want to change my life. Your book is helping me see that it is possible, especially with God in the driver's seat. - FC - Ventura, CA

Dear Mr. Angelo - I just finished reading your book, "Once Life Matters." I feel compelled to write to thank you for finishing and publishing your testimony, so that people like me could hear it. I have recently turned my life over to Christ. While reading your book, I saw so many parallels with your life and my life. For the past 15 years of my life, I have had a driving feeling inside of me. I felt like I had a destiny out in that great big world, but I just did not know what that destiny was. I thought that feeling would be fulfilled by getting my college degree, pleasing my parents, making a record, finding that perfect women, getting that great job, and showing everyone that "I made it!" Over the years, I did all these things, but nothing filled that empty void that was inside me. Therefore, I kept pouring more and more booze down my throat to quiet that "destiny feeling" that was becoming madness. I finally lost it all: my marriage, money, respect, friends, interest in music, and my sanity! I stopped looking at the sunsets and looking at the stars. I was willing to try "anything," because I had nothing! I "checked in" to a placed called Calvary Ranch. It reminds me a lot of "Faith Farm," the place you mentioned in your book where you were the director of evangelism. I found the Jesus Christ that I "thought" I had known since I was a child. Calvary Ranch is a 30-day program, but after reaching my 30th day back in October of 2006. The staff asked me to stay on as an "extended brother." I have learned so much and had the opportunity to read your book. It has really lifted my spirit. My life is full again; the void is now filled with the Spirit of God. My salvation was in front of me the whole time. It just took me to walk down a strange road to lead me here. Nevertheless, I feel that the road I have traveled is important, because it lead me to the Lord. I sure enjoyed reading about the road that you walked down to find the Truth. Thank you again and God bless. - JS - Lakeside, CA
