On Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006 California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) representatives testified before the Select Committee on Prison Population Management and Capacity. On August 14, CDCR Secretary (A) James Tilton conducted a media availability with key Legislators and supporters who are sponsoring legislation on behalf of the Administration for the Special Session on Prison Reform. Others joining the Secretary at this event, included local law enforcement agencies, as well as as victims rights advocates and groups.
